A little throwback to our Paint & Sip at the Oasis Resource Center! 🎨🥂 We loved seeing everyone get creative, enjoy some mocktails, and have a good time together.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers from Boston Scientific who took the time to celebrate our foster youth and other struggling adults graduating from high school and college! 🎓💙

These amazing volunteers put together thoughtful gift bags filled with items to encourage and celebrate our graduates as they reached this incredible milestone. Their generosity and thoughtfulness helped make this accomplishment feel even more special.

Graduation is more than a ceremony—it’s a celebration of perseverance, hard work, and the beginning of a new chapter. Having a community that shows up to recognize and encourage our youth along the way can make all the difference.

Thank you to the Boston Scientific volunteers for giving your time, energy, and heart to our youth. Your kindness reminds them that their accomplishments matter and that they have a community cheering them on as they take their next steps.

We love celebrating the special milestones in the lives of our young adults, and over the past couple of months, we had the joy of celebrating two of our young adults as they prepared to welcome their little ones! 🍼💛

In May and June, we hosted baby showers to celebrate these exciting new chapters and gifted each young adult with essential baby items and postpartum necessities to help them feel a little more prepared for the journey ahead.

These moments are about more than gifts—they’re about showing our young adults that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by a community that cares about them and their growing families.

Because of our donors and supporters, we’re able to be there for our young adults not only by providing resources and support, but also by celebrating the meaningful milestones along the way. For many of the young adults who come through our doors, relationships haven’t always been a source of safety or stability.

Some have experienced difficult or broken family relationships. Others have had people they trusted let them down. When healthy relationships haven’t always been modeled for you, recognizing red flags, setting boundaries, and knowing when to walk away are skills that sometimes have to be learned.

That’s why we were so grateful to welcome Ciana Sage, LCSW, back to the Oasis to lead Navigating Challenging Relationships: Knowing When to Walk Away. 💛

Our young adults learned how to recognize red flags, establish healthy boundaries, and identify when a relationship may no longer be healthy. They also had space to ask questions and talk through situations they may encounter in their own lives.

These conversations were about more than relationships. They gave our young adults practical tools to advocate for themselves, make healthy choices, and protect their peace as they continue building lives of their own. 🌱
