Fill and Build

Fill and Build Fill and Build is a project aimed at building a school Kenya by filling six goodwill box trucks with donations from our community.

Fill and Build was created on a foundation of giving. Our current focus is a fundraising initiative intent on raising money for education in the third world. On a more broad scale, our mission is to serve as a model that will ignite passion in young people like us to partake in the spirit of giving. We strive to inspire young dreamers to take action. We plan to accomplish this goal by designing an

outline for effective fundraising strategy. With the help, and in support of the highly acclaimed non-profit organization Free The Children, we will see our contribution turned into facilities for education across the Globe. At Fill and Build we believe an education is the most important gift that a child can receive. Our team members are working hard to give children the future they deserve. Knowledge is power, and empowerment is freedom.

After learning about the incredible nonprofit organization, Free the Children, I had the opportunity to embark on a life-changing adventure in Ecuador to build a school. After coming to UCLA, I was so excited to find someone else who had a passion for this organization and wished to raise awareness....
