❤️ Stay Safe, Sulphur Springs Families! ❤️

With the Bike Fire burning in the Sand Canyon area today, we’re thinking of all our Sulphur Springs families, friends, neighbors, and first responders.

🚨 Wildfire Safety Update – October 11

Reports indicate that the fire is spreading in the Sand Canyon area, with evacuation warnings reported in nearby communities.

Please stay alert, monitor official evacuation notices, and be prepared to leave if authorities instruct you to do so.

❤️ Keep your phones charged and emergency essentials nearby.

🐾 Don’t forget to make a plan for pets and family members who may need extra assistance.

🏡 Check on neighbors and loved ones, especially anyone who may need help.

🚒 A huge thank-you to the firefighters and emergency crews working to protect our community!

Reminder: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are early-dismissal days, with students released at 1:25 PM. Please plan ahead for pickup and don’t forget your scheduled meeting time with your child’s teacher!

Our teachers will be in back-to-back meetings throughout the afternoons, so this would also be a wonderful week to show your appreciation by treating them to lunch, snacks, or a favorite drink. A small gesture can help keep them going through their very busy conference schedules! 🍎💛

A friendly reminder for all families during pickup: when the gate opens, please respect the parents and caregivers who have already been waiting in line—both in front of and behind the cones. Going directly to the gate and bypassing those who arrived earlier creates frustration and confusion.

Please wait your turn, follow the established line, leave room for others, and treat fellow families and staff with courtesy. We’re all eager to see our children, and a little patience helps make pickup safer, smoother, and more pleasant for everyone. Thank you! 💛

We still need your help filling our Sulphur Springs auction baskets! 🧺💙 Please consider contributing this week—every donation, big or small, helps us build amazing baskets and raise more for our school!

Each classroom has a theme, but you can donate to any basket. If you have an item that doesn’t fit your child’s classroom theme, check the list to see if another class could use it. Not sure how to get your donation to the right teacher? Send us a message and we’ll help!

🏪 Local businesses can help too! If you know a small business that may be willing to donate a gift card, product, or service, please encourage them to contribute.

All of the completed baskets will be auctioned off, with the proceeds benefiting Sulphur Springs as a whole. 💛 Thank you for helping us make this fundraiser a success!
