Kesem at Santa Clara University Kesem is a nationwide community, led by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent’s cancer.

Kesem is a diverse community led by passionate and empathetic college students working to ensure that children facing the challenges of a parent's cancer have space, connection, and support to rediscover the joys of childhood. Our mission is to support children through and beyond their parent's cancer with free, fun-filled creative programs and a lasting community. Camp Kesem at Santa Clara Univer

sity was founded in 2013 and supports children in the Santa Clara community by providing Camp Kesem, a free week-long summer camp experience, and year-round Through and Beyond support services. Our chapter is operated by 40 student volunteers and serves 60 campers ages 6-18 per year. Kesem operates at more than 130 chapters coast-to-coast. Its programs and services are all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

Save the date for Kesem at Santa Clara University's 9th Annual Make the Magic fundraiser gala! ⭐️ This event will take place Saturday, April 20th in the Locatelli Student Center on SCU's campus!

Make the Magic is an evening dedicated to raising money to support children through and beyond a parent's cancer. The event will include an inspirational program, dinner, speakers from our Kesem family, and opportunities to raise money and support these children!

Ticket sales will be opening soon so keep checking in for more information. 🎟️ We hope to see you there!
