TYE 2019-2020 has come to an end with our Pitch Competition that took place on April 26th. Four incredible teams participated with each student spending an average of 150 to 200 hours on their pitch. TiE Silicon Valley appreciates the passion, dedication, and hard work our students put in, as well as the many hours our program coordinators, tutors, mentors, and parents dedicated over the last year.

Satyam Sinha is the VP of Engineering at Palo Alto Networks. He joined Palo Alto Networks through the recent acquisition of his company Aporeto Inc. Prior to this, Satyam was the co-founder and VP of Engineering at Aporeto Inc. where he innovated on a concept of workload identity. He believes that Aporeto's concept of workload identity when coupled with user identity can solve critical access and management issues in diverse clouds thereby delivering true zero trust environments. Using Aporeto's solution, enterprises can adopt cloud technologies and work with multiple cloud providers with unified policies. Palo Alto Networks will be using this technology to further its cloud security offering by making it easier to provide strong security controls at scale to its customers.
