You're invited to a CSEA family night on Friday, April 10th from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Bowlero. This month CSEA is trying a more family friendly location! RSVP ahead of time for a chance to win arcade cards. While we won't be reserving lanes to bowl as a group, you are more than welcome to bowl your own games.

This is a no-host event, created to bring people together and connect members from chapters in the greater 805 area. CSEA will have these events once a month and rotate different locations and days of the week.

Hi folks! Once a month your Region 66 team plans Greater Santa Barbara Collab events know as GSB Social Hours. All Classified Employees are invited to join us including SBCC Chapter 289, Goleta Union Chapter 311, and SB Unified Chapter 37.

This month we’ll be at Bowlero in Goleta for a more family friendly experience😃

These events are pay-on-your-own and meant to have fun, create community, and connect with other school employees in our region.✊🏼

Everyone who who RSVPs ahead of time using the QR code on the flyer or link below, will be entered in a raffle to win an arcade card. Winners will be announced at 5:30pm and will need to be present🎉

As a CSEA member you have the opportunity to become a Union Steward and represent other classified employees who need assistance with grievances or disciplinary action. After taking level 1, 2, and 3 training plus participating in some organizing activities you get certified as a union representative position called the Union Steward. Along with this title you are also gifted a personalized CSEA jacket and honored at the yearly Member Recognition Event 🙌🏼

The Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday, March 12, 2026 has an action item on the agenda, "9.10 Resolution No. 8 to Eliminate or Reduce Classified Positions."

Now is the time to stand strong with your fellow colleagues. Tell the Trustees you are against these layoffs during public comment. Ask them to vote NO on the resolution. If you attend the Board of Trustees meeting in person to make the public comment in person, wear blue (the same shade of dark blue in the attached flyer). You can also attend in person to show support and not make a public comment. If you cannot attend in person, you can make a public comment through zoom or by phone.
