Celebrating our young mariachi talent!

Denise Gutiérrez , Angel Mendoza , and Kaylanie Barrera earned their opportunity to perform at the 29th Annual Santa Barbara Mariachi Festival after being selected at our Inaugural Vocal Competition.

From the competition stage to performing at the Festival, it was incredible seeing these talented young vocalists have their moment in front of our Santa Barbara community.

This is what the Santa Barbara Mariachi Festival is all about: creating opportunities, celebrating culture, and giving the next generation a stage to shine.

Congratulations Alessandra, Angel, and Kaylanie! We’re proud to have you as part of the SBMF family. 🎺❤️

Thank you to Fred at The Brander Vineyard for being a continuous sponsor of our festival!

Fred Brander's love for winemaking is matched by his generous philanthropy through the Brander Family Foundation, which supports the Allan Hancock College Foundation and several other local nonprofit organizations.

A special backstage moment for some of our Santa Barbara Mariachi Festival scholarship students with Joss Favela

The heart of our festival is our students. Funds raised help provide scholarships for local students pursuing higher education, many becoming the first in their families to attend college.

This is what it’s all about.
