MiniBean update and Smokey ❤️
On today’s trip to Los Angeles for MiniBean’s 3rd chemo treatment, she was extremely talkative. She also decided she was not going to cooperate with her doctors. 😹
So, after some sedation and quite a bit of loving care and patience from her amazing techs and vets, everything that needed to happen got done. 🙂
Not sure where all that energy came from, but even after the sedation, she was wide awake and enjoyed the ride home like always.
Next week she completes the first round of 4 chemo treatments and gets an ultrasound to see if the tumor is shrinking. Paws crossed. ❤️
As always, watch to the end to see Smokey. 🌈❤️

MiniBean had her second chemo yesterday and is doing great. Too soon to know if it’s working but the fact that she seems to be tolerating it means we cleared our first hurdle. Taking her to the same hospital in Los Angeles as Smokey went to, the same doctors, and seeing her act so much like Smokey, is definitely bittersweet. We miss him more than ever. Today this memory popped up in my TikTok feed. Smokey and just a few of his many many hats 😺🐾❤️🎩
