From the library to the garden! 📚➡️🌱 Look at this incredible rainbow of seeds!

We are incredibly grateful to the Santa Barbara Public Library for this amazing donation and to Vlada’s Seeds of Life for donating the seeds to the library! We’ve had a wonderful time organizing them, and we look forward to sharing this abundance with thousands of students at school gardens throughout Santa Barbara County.

💚 Partnerships like this are what keep our 38 school gardens thriving.

Get ready, pollinators, some beautiful new habitats are on the way! 🐝

Students at Goleta Family School got creative in garden class by making beautiful botanical print bookmarks with cyanotype paper! 🌿☀️

Using flowers, leaves, and sunlight, students explored the magic of nature and art while creating one-of-a-kind prints with Garden Educator Anya.

The bookmarks will always remind students of their gorgeous school garden! 💙📚

These beautiful garden signs started as an art project created by second graders in Garden Educator Courtney's class! 🌿🎨

After seeing their work, the IB Coordinator transformed their artwork into signs for the school garden. We love how they turned out!

These are just two examples, but each one is full of creativity and care for the garden space.🌱

It’s always so special to see student artwork celebrated beyond the classroom and become part of a space that the whole school community can enjoy. 💚

We want to extend a HUGE thank you to for awarding us the Whale Tail Grant this past year! 🐋

This support has helped us expand our watershed education programming in powerful ways — from partnering with to bring local students out onto the Santa Barbara Channel for unforgettable ocean learning experiences, to redesigning signage at the South Coast Watershed Resource Center to better connect our community with local watershed resources.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to inspire the next generation of coastal stewards and deepen our community’s connection to our coastline.🌊
