We are excited to debut a new show, Flamenco Íntimo 'Jóvenes,' on Thursday, April 23 at Santa Barbara Historical Museum. The intimate tablao will feature singer Pepele Mendez, guitarist Andres Vadin, and dancers Aracely Sagastume, Noelle 'Tink' Gerthoffer, and Jack 'Joaquin' Harwood.

Concierto Íntimo!

Join us for an intimate concert in the candlelit Covarrubias adobe by José Antonio Rodríguez, one of Spain’s leading flamenco guitarist-composers.

José Antonio Rodríguez has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists, including Paco de Lucía, Alejandro Sanz, Chick Corea, Al Di Meola, and Astor Piazzolla, spanning flamenco, jazz, and popular music. In his 20s, he became the youngest flamenco guitar professor at the Córdoba Conservatory and went on to compose for orchestra, ballet, film, and television. Featured in Carlos Saura’s Flamenco, he also contributed to international hits such as “Macarena” and Alejandro Sanz’s No Es Lo Mismo.

Rodríguez has released nine acclaimed albums to date.

Emilio Ochando is an award-winning dancer and choreographer based in Spain. He trained at the prestigious National Ballet of Spain and the Royal Conservatory of Madrid. He danced with the companies of Domingo Ortega, Aida Gomez, Rafael Aguilar, Inma Ortega, Nuevo Ballet Espanol, and Rojas y Rodriguez. He has toured Europe, Asia, North America and Japan and serves as associate artistic director for Vivo Flamenco in NYC.
