Hi GFSB! There is an event coming up in Del Mar, CA on February 11-12 that many of you would be interested in attending - the Gluten Free & Allergen Friendly Expo. This event is perfect for anyone with celiac disease or a special diet.

If you are interested in volunteering, they need help! Volunteers get free entry to the Expo and a t-shirt in exchange for working at shift at the event.

If you would like to attend, but don't want to volunteer, let me know and I will get you a $5-off coupon that you can use towards tickets.

Hi GFSBers! One of our members, Angela, was trying to find other parents that have kids with celiac to form a co-op. Since gluten-free food can be so expensive, she would love to do a swap, especially around the holidays! She prefers people that cook or bake for celiacs so that they understand how to avoid cross contamination. Perhaps a few of you could take turns making a large meal or lots of bread and trade with each other! At this point, she buys bulk GF flour and pasta every 6 months, and wouldn't mind picking up more supplies if she could help others. Want to brainstorm some ideas to make this work? Reach out to member Angela West or let us know if you are interested and we can put you in touch!
