Adam, Daniel and Joseph were amazing guest speakers at today’s Kiwanis Club meeting. It was awesome to learn about all the great things New House does for the individuals staying in their homes, as well as for the community in general.

Come One and All! This Saturday August 10th from 7:30AM to 11:00 Am the Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara, along with The Rotary Club, Old Navy Stores and The Unity Shoppe is having a "Back to School" event in front of Old Navy at 1137 State Street in Santa Barbara.

100 students chosen by their principal at Cleveland School will be presented with a $100 gift certificate to purchase whatever they need in the Old Navy Store. In addition to that, thank you Unity Shoppe, the students will receive Back Packs chock-full of school supplies and snacks.

Yes! We can use volunteers. Nancy Butterfield is coordinating the event, go to KiwanisClubofSantaBarbara.org or KiwanisSB.org and sign up for this amazing event. Or show up this Saturday and say "I want to help!"

Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara is inviting all Santa Barbara Graduating High School seniors to apply for our Kiwanis scholarships.

Please know that scholarship recipients are never selected solely on their GPA. We look strongly at community service, family circumstances and recommendations. Please encourage all your seniors to apply.

We are awarding eight $2,500 scholarships and one $4,500 scholarship in honor of Brad Naegle, our long time member who donated so much energy, time and money to the Kiwanis scholarship program

The deadline for applying is April 3rd, 2024. We will have a celebration and a delicious presentation dinner at the Carriage Museum for the recipients and their families on May 14, 2024.

At today’s Kiwanis Club of Santa Barbara’s lunch meeting, we had the opportunity to hear from Dean Noble, Executive Director from Elings Park Foundation. It is one of the most beautiful parks in Santa Barbara and they do so much for our community. Thank you for all you do!
