Shabbat shalom: Memorial Day is a day of remembrance, and I offer my personal experience and perspective on this solemn occasion. The Vietnam War (67-69) was a time of immense sacrifice, and the heroes who served in it were unwavering in their commitment to their country.
From the intense battles of the Tet Offensive and Khe Sanh to the perilous skies above Hue City, American troops displayed unparalleled valor. Their bravery and selflessness have left an indelible mark on our nation, and we are forever grateful for their service.
As we reflect on this day of remembrance, let us honor our nation’s heroes who gave their lives for our freedom and independence. JNS2026
