We’re beyond ecstatic to see our Friendship Center flags flying proudly on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara! 💚

It’s especially meaningful to see them up during our milestone 50th year of service. For 50 years, we’ve been here for our community and we’re looking forward to being here for even more decades to come.

Last weekend, our First Family Reunion & Alumni Picnic beautifully encompassed the fact that Friendship Center is more than a place, it’s a community to call home. A place where you’re welcomed and celebrated. 💚

What an incredible day of learning, connection, and community.

Friendship Center’s Dementia Care Conference brought together people from near and far. From Boston, Cleveland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Colombia, and Mexico to Santa Maria, Ventura, and right here in Santa Barbara.

Students, nurses, professionals, family caregivers, and community members came together, from those just beginning to learn about dementia care to those who navigate it every day.

Together, we explored new research, practical tools, and compassionate approaches to care. Attendees gained new knowledge and were reminded they are not alone in the dementia journey.

Thank you to every speaker, attendee, volunteer, and supporter who made this special day possible. 💚
