This month's Porsche day at SuperCar holds a heavy heart as it will also honor Doug Baron, a well-known Porsche racer and classic car enthusiast who was killed in a head-on collision in Camarillo on March 25, while he was casually driving his 911. The accident involved a Ford Expedition crossing into his lane on Las Posas Road, resulting in fatal injuries for both drivers.

Porsche Marque Day has become one of SoCal’s premier monthly Porsche gatherings, and it just keeps getting better. If you're a Porsche enthusiast, this is the event you don’t want to miss.

This month's auction brought to you by Bring A Trailer. The 1971 Porsche 914 with 14k miles shown, but is a TMU (Total Miles Unknown). TMU's are usually due to a gauge swap during its life.

Finished in Gold Metallic over Black interior, it is powered by a replaced 1.7L flat-four and mated to a like-wise five-speed manual transaxle. It went through a rotisserie refurbishment around 2015. With about 900 amazing photos presented in this auction, don't underestimate your guess.
