WHAT'S YOUR GUESS?
Let's have some fun sharpening your skills on the value of the current Porsche resale market.
Hard to believe we've never presented a true 930 (Turbo, of course). We had one on this page in Dec '24, but that was a Slantnose design.
Quoted from David Whitlock, Stuttgart Market Letter:
This 1979 911 Turbo came finished in rare Paint-to-Sample Plantation White over a Brown leather interior and showed 59,000 miles on the odometer. It benefited from an extensive refurbishment completed between 2015 and 2019 that included a repaint, a reupholstered interior, refreshed brakes and suspension, an upgraded R134a air conditioning system, and a rebuild of the turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six. Performance was further enhanced with 911SC camshafts, a K27 turbocharger, a larger intercooler, and a Fabspeed exhaust system. The investment didn’t stop there, with an additional $37,000 spent in 2022 on mechanical work that included rebuilding the transaxle and distributor, replacing the blower motor, fuel lines, hoses, spark plugs, and various oil seals.
