The Santa Barbara Tennis Patrons hosted the annual Santa Barbara City Championships over the past two weekends at the SBHS courts and the Santa Barbara Tennis Club!

🏆 77 players from across California competed for a $3,000 purse in six divisions — men’s & women’s singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and men’s 40+ singles.

👏 Local talent shined bright, with 9 of the 18 finalists representing the Santa Barbara area!

Men’s Singles:
Champion: Mico Santiago (Camarillo)
Runner-up: Garrett Patton (Santa Barbara)

Women’s Singles:
Champion: Shakhnoza Khatamova (Santa Barbara)
Runner-up: Maya Ichim (England)

Men’s Doubles:
Champions: Teague Hamilton (Santa Barbara) / Chris Wan (Camarillo)
Runners-up: James Truong (Arleta) / Julian Tellez (Winnetka)

Women’s Doubles:
Champions: Michele Saunders (Solvang) / Jennifer Steinwurtzel (Santa Barbara)
Runners-up: Victoria Colf (Ventura) / Sabrina Gutierrez (Port Hueneme)

Mixed Doubles:
Champions: Shakhnoza Khatamova (Santa Barbara) / Garrett Patton (Santa
