Our Educator Grants provide $1,000–$5,000 to support innovative, educator-driven projects that create meaningful learning experiences for students from TK through high school in the SB Unified School District.

There are also two specialty grants:

đź”­STEM Grant ($10,000 School wide)

🎼🎶The Margie Yahyavi Grant ($3,000 Excellence in Music Education)
Last year, $200,000 was awarded to SBUSD educators, helping bring their ideas to life for students across our community.

This week, SBEF was proud to host lunch for SBUSD's New Educator Orientation, welcoming teachers as they begin their journey in our district. It was a wonderful opportunity to introduce new educators to SBEF, share how we support classrooms through programs like Educator Grants, and celebrate the important role they play in shaping the future of our students.

Earlier this week, we welcomed Santa Barbara Unified principals and district leaders to our annual Principals' Breakfast. It was a wonderful morning of connection, collaboration, and celebration as we looked ahead to another year of supporting students and educators across all 21 schools.
