Alliance of Women in Media Arts and Sciences - UCSB This is student run organization for women technology students at UCSB intersecting Media Arts and Sciences.

The mission of the Organization shall be a student run club for women art, science and technology students at UCSB. AWMAS empowers women to succeed in technology related fields, be it academic or professional, with an emphasis in media arts. (AWMAS) consists of scientists, engineers, musicians, music industry professionals, game developers, educators and graphic artists who strive to inspire and l

earn from each other. Through AWMAS, women are given an opportunity to share ideas, network and collaborate.
