SBTAN/Lisa's Place is going to be having a planning meeting in a few weeks, and we'd really like to know what we can focus on to help our community the most. Many thanks to anyone that can take the time to fill it out. It will be open until January 31st at midnight - but feedback is always welcome.

Our Transgiving Community Potluck is tonight! Join us from 3-6pm at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara (1535 Santa Barbara St.) in Jefferson Hall. Trans, non-binary, and all gender non-conforming people are invited plus our supportive friends, neighbors, and family. There's going to be great food and amazing company to enjoy!

If you want to RSVP and let people know what you plan to bring you can still do so (https://tinyurl.com/transgiving24), but you don't have to RSVP and you don't even have to bring anything. We're just looking forward to seeing you there!

Jefferson Hall is off the lower courtyard, a bit southeast of the main parish courtyard/entrance on the corner of Santa Barbara St and Arrellaga St. Street parking is usually readily available.

Hi everyone! We got a lot of programming coming up but I have a feeling this will get a lot of folks excited! Please come by the two weeks from now with clothes to bring and to take! Allies and affirming accessories welcomed. It will take place in the church’s garage December 6th at 4pm and run for a few hours as needed.

We are welcoming members of the transgender community along with supportive family and friends to enjoy community around an amazing meal. SBTAN will be providing turkey, and guests are invited to bring a side or dessert to share. The event will be taking place in Jefferson Hall at the Unitarian Society of Santa Barbara (1535 Santa Barbara St.).

Today is the Transgender Day of Remembrance and tonight we will be naming & honoring those members of our community around the world that have been lost to violence this past year. Please join us under the archway at the Santa Barbara Courthouse (1100 Anacapa St.) at 5:30pm for a candlelight vigil.

Beloved community, we will be at the archway under the Santa Barbara Courthouse per tradition for TDOR, next Wednesday at 5:30pm 11/20. Please consider inviting a friend or two. Transgender Day of Remembrance is our most solemn day of the year, but we make it a beacon of light together.

We at SBTAN are here with and for our community.

Many of us are experiencing shock, grief, and fear right now. We've heard and are feeling concerns about safety, rights, healthcare, and more.

We don't know every challenge we will face in the coming days. We cannot promise to stop the hate and discrimination. But we can try. We can be there for each other. And we are stronger together.

SBTAN will continue to provide a safe and supportive space for our community members. We will also seek ways to meet evolving needs. Join us—whether to share your concerns, express your needs, or offer your support. Each of us has a role, and together, we will make a difference.
