What an exciting day, to see your hard work back into the driveway! We cut the first box open and gave Rodney the first copy….to finally see three years of work in its final printed form!

What a wonderful and rewarding day!

Here are the before and after photos of the recent conservation work that was done at the Courthouse by the Santa Barbara Courthouse Legacy Foundation.

The dark biological growth and pollution that stained and degraded the sandstone has been removed and the rich golden hue of the beautiful sandstone is once again exposed. The interior walls were also cleaned and the original wrought iron grilles and ornamentation on the windows were painted. The project was completed on time and on budget. Thank you to the many supporters who made work this possible! www.sbclf.org

Thank you John Palminteri NewsChannel 3-12 and News Channel 3-12 for this wonderful story about our recent restoration work on the Courthouse! Go see it! It looks amazing!

A beautification of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse Great Arch has been completed in phases. The latest work was on the sunken garden side where some of the sandstone was turning black.
