CADA has partnered with Alcohol and Drug Programs and the Santa Barbara Police Department to develop a campaign which raises the visibility of DUI enforcement. An increased perception in enforcement around DUI has been shown to be an evide...nce-based strategy that deters people from driving after drinking.

The Fourth of July is one of the deadliest weekends of the year due to driving after drinking so please take the time to pass this information along to your family and friends.

Have fun and safe Fourth of July

Wednesday, March 13, 2013 marks the 10 year anniversary of the death of Casey Goodwin. Casey, as many of you know, was a young lady that grew up in our programs and was a leader in our Friday Night Live program in Exeter, with the California Youth Council, with Teenwork and an intern in the CFNLP Office as well as the SLO FNL Office. She was a student as Cuesta College in SLO County. On her way home to celebrate her Mom's birthday she was hit head on by an 18 year old young man driving under the influence. Please consider remembering Casey today by taking Casey's pledge.
