The Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise is made up of local business, professional, and civic leaders. We meet regularly, get to know each other, form friendships, and through that, we're able to get things done in our local and worldwide communities.

One hundred Cleveland Elementary students and their families came together for a special back-to-school shopping experience, made possible by the generosity and partnership of Rotary Club of Santa Barbara Sunrise, SB Kiwanis, Unity Shoppe, and Old Navy. Volunteers from Rotary, Kiwanis, Explore Ecology, and New House were on hand to help families with everything from finding the right sizes to checking prices. We’re grateful to everyone who helped make this special day possible to help local students start the school year with confidence!

Fiesta is a community celebration and Sunrise Rotarians were there in many ways to help make it happen! At the Old Spanish Days El Desfile Histórico (Historical Parade), Judith McCaffrey served as an ambassador managing reserved seating for local retirement homes, Kathleen Rogers helped keep the parade safe as a parade marshal, Diana Washburn organized a spot along the parade route for fellow Rotarians to enjoy the festivities, and our club president, Angelique Springer, joined the Past Presidents’ Float with her husband, OSD Past President Erik Davis. Our Community Service Committee recently welcomed representatives from Friends of Troop 26, who shared how the Sunrise Opportunity Fund is helping make Scouting accessible to more local youth. We're honored that the scholarship fund was named in recognition of our club's $2,500 grant that helped launch the program. Thank you, Friends of Troop 26, for investing in the future of our community!
