EITS presents wildlife ambassadors - 7 birds of prey native to our area - to children and adults throughout the greater Santa Barbara area. The birds’ live presence and their unique stories of survival following conflict with human activities, educate about impacts of human actions, good and bad, and foster respect and understanding for wild species and their habitats.

We made it through the Thomas Fire. All of our birds are safe, having been housed North of the fire danger. Today we had to clean their aviaries to get rid of the toxic ash that had accumulated in the duration of the active fire. Now we are working on bringing back our birds from several northern facilities in San Luis Obispo: https://www.pacificwildlifecare.org/
