🌎 World Environment Day 🌱

A healthy environment benefits everyone, but especially those who are most vulnerable in our communities.

For people experiencing homelessness, access to clean air, safe public spaces, shade, drinking water, and a healthy environment isn't just about comfort, it's about wellbeing, dignity, and survival.

Today, we recognize that environmental justice and social justice go hand in hand. Building a healthier planet means creating
communities where everyone has the opportunity to live safely, with dignity, and a place to call home.

💚Environmental Justice Begins with Human Dignity.

A person sleeping in their car is often facing an impossible situation, not because they want to be there, but because they have nowhere else to go.

When housing costs continue to rise and affordable options remain out of reach, many people find themselves living in vehicles just to survive.

Too often, conversations about homelessness happen without listening to the people most affected or the communities trying to create real solutions.

Earth Day is about people, too.

Those most affected by the climate crisis are often those without shelter.

A healthier planet means safe housing, dignity, and real solutions, not punishment.

Let’s protect both our planet and our people.
