Get ready Santa Barbara's active and growing 50+ crowd, because next Monday, November 3, is our Chapter's annual Holiday Potluck and everyone 50+ is invited to attend. All Chapter 72 members get free admission, and newcomers have to pay just $7.00 for a great meal, and that $7 also covers your annual chapter dues! I'd call that an extraordinary bargain. Check out our website for more! We really do honor our community's seniors, and welcome you with food, friendship and song!

Hello People who are 50+years young!

Did you even know there was an AARP chapter in town? Yes, we are here and we need YOU!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE AN AARP NATIONAL MEMBER to be an AARP-SB chapter member

We are forming our 2014 - 2015 chapter committees. If you are 50 years-old or over
please consider joining this active and fun-loving group. Our website:

Here are the committees:

- Engagement committee ( contact community shakers and movers and schedule their presentation at our upcoming meetings)

- Media committee --two or more people: shoot photos / videos to be posted online and in newsletter; write/suggest articles

- Membership committee --two or more people: design methods for raising membership numbers

If you are 50 years plus, and are looking for community involvement, please try us on for size. We meet on the 1st Monday of every month except September. Thanks for reading! Now join our little chapter!
