🎶 Introducing BR3M-K6! 🎶

Born out of the Turner Foundation Music & Imagination Program (TFMI), BR3M-K6 is one of Santa Barbara’s newest up-and-coming youth bands. We couldn’t be more proud of how far they’ve come!

Their journey started as young students learning the fundamentals of music through TFMI. Over time, they found their individual voices, built friendships, grew as musicians, and came together to create a sound that’s uniquely their own.

BR3M-K6 is ready to bring their energy, creativity, and love of performing to the stage. And this is just the beginning…

🏖️TFMI BEACH DAY! 😎

What better way to wrap up summer than a day at the beach with our teens?! We BBQ’d, played games, laughed, relaxed, and soaked up some Santa Barbara sunshine. ☀️

This day was all about creating space for our students to strengthen their bonds and grow their connections as peers. These are the young musicians who will be learning, playing, and creating music together, so we love giving them opportunities to connect beyond the studio! A sweet way to close out summer and carry those connections into the new semester. 🍂

2026 SPRING SPOTLIGHT: Showcase & Awards Celebration! 🎸🥁🎷🎹🎙️🎶✨🎉🎊

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event so special. Your support, encouragement, and belief in our mission are what make this community so strong.

To our student musicians: thank you for your hard work, dedication, courage, and vulnerability. Sharing your music and stories takes tremendous bravery, and we are so proud of the growth you’ve demonstrated both on and off the stage. You continue to inspire us everyday!

Congratulations to our Volunteer of the Year Award recipient, Leo Rubio, whose generosity, mentorship, and dedication have made a lasting impact on our students and the TFMI program.

Congratulations as well to Guillermo Gomez, recipient of the Outstanding Musicianship Award. Your perseverance, courage, and determination to grow as a musician and person exemplify the values we strive to cultivate at TFMI.

Finally, thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to bring this event to life. Your time, energy, and care made this celebration possible.

CATCH OUR YOUTH BANDS LIVE!🎶
Our A Combo and B Combo are performing at the 40th Annual I Madonnari Festival on Sunday May 24th at 12PM. Come out and support these talented students as they rock the stage and share all their hard work with the community! We would also like to extend a thank you to for inviting us back to play!

VANESSA’S 12-BAR BLUES 🥁

Today we are highlighting our youngest drum student, Vanessa (10), cruising through a standard 12-Bar Blues on the kit! Vanessa has been continuously showing growth, excitement, and confidence in her drumming abilities! We are so proud of Vanessa for conquering this take.
