[PAID OPPORTUNITY] $5,000 Screenwriting Fellowship — 60 Writers Being Selected Nationwide!

Hi everyone — I wanted to share a paid screenwriting fellowship that may be of interest to writers in this community.

MyGlobalClassroom, Inc., a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2002, has received grant funding to launch the MyGlobalClassroom Storytelling Fellowship.

We are selecting 60 screenwriters nationwide, with each selected writer receiving $5,000 to develop and complete an original 10–20 minute screenplay.

This is a paid fellowship, not a screenplay contest. Selected writers will be commissioned to create entertaining short scripts exploring important social issues such as inclusion, bullying, racism, empathy, mental health, and other topics affecting young people.

The resulting films will become part of an educational series distributed free of charge to schools serving underprivileged K–12 students around the world.
