Santa Barbara Equine Evacuation and Assistance Team, Inc.

The Santa Barbara Equine Assistance and Evacuation Team, inc. is a volunteer group whose members are registered by the Office of Emergency Services.

We conduct periodic training sessions on large animal rescue, extrication, and airlift, as well as the transporting and temporary sheltering of animals during emergencies.

The Santa Barbara Equine Evacuation Team Board of Directors was proud to host our annual Don Hathaway BBQ last week as a thank-you to the Montecito Fire Department, our large animal veterinarians, and Santa Barbara County Animal Services for everything they do to support our community during emergencies.

We are incredibly grateful for our strong partnerships with these dedicated agencies. Their expertise, commitment, and collaboration are essential to helping us fulfill our mission of assisting animals during emergencies.

Santa Barbara Equine Evac is seeking trailer storage space for approximately 1 month beginning this weekend. We are required to move our 26 foot office trailer from its normal storage site at Earl Warren Showgrounds during the Santa Barbara County Fair & Expo.
