Today’s halftime show will remind us of a few important things:

Music will be universal.
Rhythm will need no translation.
And no matter who you’re rooting for, we will all pause for a few minutes and vibe together.

Different languages, different cultures, different teams, but one shared moment on the biggest stage. That’s the magic.

Whether you will love it, dance a little, or pretend you don’t while secretly nodding your head… halftime will do its job. Welcome to the

Congress must now demand a full congressional investigation into the use of force by federal immigration agents, including traffic stops, rules of engagement, training, supervision, and post-incident review. This is not a symbolic exercise. It is a test of whether federal power will be governed by law or excused by repetition.

A CALL TO ACTION: Your participation is essential.
* We encourage you to Call your Senators’ offices,
* Send a letter or email expressing your concerns.
* Make clear that civil rights protections must come first! (See details below)

This is a critical moment for our communities and for the future of civil rights in our country. Across the nation, actions taken by the Department of Homeland Security and its enforcement agencies have raised serious concerns about civil rights, due process, and accountability.

Latino communities and other communities of color continue to bear the brunt of these policies, with real and lasting consequences for families and neighborhoods.

LULAC was founded to defend civil rights and equal justice under the law. When those principles are threatened, we have a responsibility to speak up and to act.

We are calling on all community members to contact your U.S. Senators and urge them to withhold further funding for DHS unless clear and enforceable protections are put in place to safeguard civil rights and prevent abuses of authority.

Congress has the power to demand accountability. Federal funding must be used to ensure that government agencies operate with transparency, respect constitutional rights, and treat all communities with dignity.

TAKE ACTION:
Your participation is essential. We encourage you to:

Call your Senators’ offices
Send a letter or email expressing your concerns
Make clear that civil rights protections must come first
