Carmen Chapter is a dynamic group of professional women who are passionate about the arts and want to share this passion with others. Research has shown that the arts can have a significant impact on people's lives. We are an advocate for the civic commitment of Segerstrom Center for the Arts' efforts to transform the lives of all Southern California residents, volunteering as necessary for specia
l community programs, raising money, supporting their audience activities, and enjoying all that SCFTA has to offer. Along the way, we enjoy each other's company putting the fun back into FUNdraising. We become an extension of each other's family, laughing, crying, supportive in a positive manner. Members forge lifetime friendships with each other as we work to fulfill our commitment to Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Carmen Chapter is one of 24 chapters comprising The Guilds of Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The Guilds is one of the largest and most prestigious support groups for a non-profit organization in Orange County. It is admired for its contributions to SCFTA nationwide and emulated by other arts organizations around the country. Guilds members have raised more than $14 million dollars in support of the Center since their organization was founded. Our support helps fund the Center's education programs that reach hundreds of thousands of young people and educators each year with performances and arts-in-education programs at the Center and on school campuses. Carmen members know that the arts can change lives, uplift and inspire, and represent and unite our community. We are proud to be part of the internationally acclaimed Segerstrom Center for the Arts family.
