See you tomorrow at the ! We'll be giving out FREE cartonera children's books from our indigenous language series (Spanish-Zapoteco & Spanish-Nahuatl), 2-4pm during the "Canciones del Mundo" Indigenous Languages Festival.

Nos vemos mañana en la ! Vamos a estar regalando libros cartonera para niños, de nuestra serie de lenguajes indígenas (español -zapoteco y español -nahuatl). De 2-4 pm durante el Festival de Lenguajes Indígenas "Canciones del Mundo."

We'll be at the Los Angeles Public Library on November 3rd for "Songs of the Earth" Indigenous Languages Festival! We will have 7 different titles available -- including those you see here -- in Spanish-Nahuatl and Spanish-Zapoteco. Free cartonera childrens books, community-written & community-published!

"The city of Los Angeles is home to more than two hundred indigenous languages. The Los Angeles Public Library seeks to establish a day dedicated to their celebration. We invite you to join us in celebrating the diversity and richness of local and worldwide indigenous languages."

Cartonera Santanera's bookmaking/cochinilla workshop for 's book launch at UCLA! Congratulations to Alex, Lucy Bell, and Patrick O'Hare on the publication of this great book, the first academic book dedicated to cartonera! We had a great time and got to hear speak about art books and cartonera. Que viva la cartonera!
