An evening of culture, art, community, and Pacific representation. 🌺

Marshallese Youth of Orange County was honored to attend a special evening at the Getty Center celebrating Pacific history, culture, and the stories represented throughout the museum and community.

We are grateful for opportunities like this that bring Pacific communities together, create space for connection, and allow us to see our histories and cultures represented in meaningful ways.

A special thank you to PieAM Museum, under the direction of Auntie Fran Lujan, for ensuring that Marshallese Youth of Orange County was represented and present for this special evening.

A heartfelt thank you to Melissa Laelan of the Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese (ACOM) for inviting MYOC to dinner.

We truly enjoyed the conversation, laughter, and opportunity to connect with Consul General Anjanette Anjel, Lynda Riklon of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), and their wonderful support teams.

There’s something special about sitting down with strong, like-minded community leaders who share a passion for serving and uplifting our communities. 🌺
