The official launch of our Breath of Life Survey Campaign took place on May 30, 2026, with a dinner hosted by MYOC for our community consultants from our partnering organizations: Sacramento Marshallese Community (SMC), My Sacto, and Sacramento Marshallese Youth Coalition (SMYC).

We extend our gratitude to His Excellency Ambassador Charles Paul from the U.S.–RMI Embassy and Consulate General Community Coordinator Paul Keju from Oʻahu for joining us and helping mark this momentous occasion.

A special kommoltata to and —without whom none of this would have been possible.

- Let’s talk about it SacTown.

Substance Use Disorder can affect anyone, including young people, and it can impact brain development, school performance, relationships, and mental health. Early warning signs may include changes in mood, behavior, sleep, grades, or friends, and getting support early can make a real difference. Recovery is possible, and reaching out to a trusted adult, counselor, doctor, or local support service is a strong first step.

There is no shame in asking for help, DM us so we can find resources together.
