Caring Unlimited’s annual Survivor Stories Project is an event held every October as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and offers a space for survivors of abuse to share their stories in their own words.

Survivors may choose to identify themselves, read their own stories, or have their stories shared completely anonymously. You do not need to have any connection to Caring Unlimited to share your story.

To learn more or submit a story, visit www.caring-unlimited.org.

Caring Unlimited’s Monday Fun Day summer events are weekly bonding activities for families in our transitional housing, emergency shelter, and housing navigation programs! They provide an opportunity for residents to come together, build relationships, and get to know one another better.

Last month, our staff held a Residential Birthday Party for more than 30 kids and parents who are a part of our residential programs, complete with a cupcake sprinkler! Fun Days have also included magic shows, movie nights, snow cone trucks, beach days, and other fun family bonding activities.

These events offer a chance for kids and parents alike to play and create positive memories, and give families something to celebrate together!
