📍 Drop off your donations at the Western Harnett/Overhills Area PTO Thrift Store.
🚌 Be sure to tell them you’d like your donation credited to Highland Middle School!

HMS would like to take time to recognize our School Lunch Hero Squad.

In a world where hungry students gather… where the clock strikes noon and energy runs low… a team of everyday heroes rises to the challenge.

They arrive before the first bell rings—aprons on, mission clear.

Fuel the minds. Nourish the future. Save the day.

With trays in hand and smiles ready, our School Lunch Heroes move into action. Serving hundreds, meeting every standard, and still finding time to greet each student with kindness—they are the quiet force powering our school from behind the scenes.

No cape? No problem.
Their superpowers include organization, resilience, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to our students.

Through the busiest lunch waves and the toughest days, they stand strong—ensuring every child is seen, cared for, and well-fed.

So today, we pause the action to recognize these champions among us.

In a world where hungry students gather… where the clock strikes noon, and energy runs low… a team of everyday heroes rises to the challenge every single day.
