Ethnos360

Ethnos360 www.ethnos360.org/about Ethnos360 is steadfast in its goal of reaching people who have no access to the Gospel.

That was the vision for our ministry when we were founded in 1942 as New Tribes Mission, and it is our vision today. Our founders had a vision for reaching the world: “By unflinching determination we hazard our lives and gamble all for Christ until we have reached the last tribe regardless of where that tribe might be.” - Brown Gold, our magazine in 1943, Issue 1

That vision hasn’t changed, but

the world has. We face new challenges, and we are learning to face them together – relying upon God to unite His people to overcome them for His glory. Ethnos360 continues to trust God, and God continues to be glorified. Today more than 3,000 Christians serve throughout the world, and training programs in more than a dozen countries prepare Christians for service among the thousands of peoples who have yet to hear.

The path to missions isn't always clear, but the command and the promise are ...

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

What do you do when you don’t feel qualified for the role God is calling you to? Our CEO’s wife, Sharon Sanford, shares her experience of growing up as a missionary kid in Africa, serving with her husband as a church planter in a remote village in South America, and later stepping into different support roles in the USA as she and her husband raised their three sons. Her dependency on the Lord and Scripture is woven throughout her story.

The Resurrection and the Great Commission are one story. Today as you celebrate Easter, the resurrection of the Passover lamb, Christ Jesus, remember His final words on Earth ...

“Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat on it. His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. And the guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men.

“But the angel answered and said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.’

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.”

Matthew 28:1-7, 28:18-20

Join us today as we reflect on the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ and look forward to Sunday with hope and thankfulness that the story does not end at the cross.

“After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, ‘I thirst!’ Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. So, when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, ‘It is finished!’ And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.”

“They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,
‘Hosanna!’
‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!’
‘Blessed is the king of Israel!’
Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written:

‘Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
see, your king is coming,
seated on a donkey’s colt.’

At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.”

John 12:13-16
