Great to have Lieutenant Chris Thompson and Deputy Rev from the Lee County Sheriff's Office NC join us for our first June meeting. Lieutenant Thompson provided us with an informative update on the department’s current programs and initiatives. Of course they both received a coveted Sanford Lions cap.
A big thank you to the men and women of the Lee County Sheriff’s office for keeping us all safe.

We had a great presentation from Lion Kelli McDowell, our District Childhood Cancer Chair. Cancer affects so many families, including those with small children. The club also made a $1000 donation in support of childhood cancer programs.

Come by the fairgrounds starting at 5pm to support the cause and honor family and friends.
