Sanford Community Youth Alliance is on a mission to ensure that no teenager in our community has to face the night without a safe place to call home. Right here in Sanford, there are young people — our neighbors' children, classmates, and community members — who are navigating life without the stability of a roof over their heads, and the difference between their struggle and their success could be you. We are actively seeking warm-hearted, compassionate individuals and families willing to open their homes to local unhoused teens, whether for a few days in a moment of crisis or on a longer-term basis while they work toward stability. You don't have to be perfect — you just have to care. By becoming a host, you're not simply offering a spare room; you're offering a young person the chance to feel seen, valued, and safe during one of the most vulnerable chapters of their life. If you believe every teenager in Sanford deserves a fighting chance, we'd love to talk with you about how you can make that happen.

Thank you doesn’t begin to cover the love that Rotary Club of Sanford-Springvale, Maine showered us with last Tuesday night. The fundraiser was held at MEE D THAI and I still can’t get over the amazing sponsors and generous donations to help our local teens stay warm as well as help us meet the many needs of our unhoused kiddos. Thank you again! Check out the donation pile!!!
