On Saturday, February 8, Seminole County PTA will host the first, hopefully annual, Mascot Games. It's an afternoon of the entire SCPS community coming together with school spirit to cheer for their team - including their school Mascots. It is at Lake Mary High School from 12pm - 3pm.

In order to participate, Crooms PTSA needs:
• The Panther; in progress
• 2 Adults to play the games (The Panther will cheer for them); needed
• 1 business to sponsor for Crooms Team; Team sponsorship is $250; needed.
Our Team sponsor's logo will go on the back of our team's shirts and they will get announced throughout the games. There are many sponsor opportunities for the games - I am specifically looking for a business partner to sponsor our Crooms team.

Do you think this is something a BAC member may be interested in sponsoring? I'm hoping this will be a fun event for our Crooms community and the BAC is an important part of our community.

We are excited to procure our TechFest 2025 Keynote Speaker, Heidi Araya! We are beyond excited to have her speak at our school that day! Mark your calendars! TechFest is March 13, 2025!

We are starting to plan for a very popular event on campus, Teach-In Day! If you or someone you know would like to be a teacher for the day or even just for one class period, we would love to have you! Teachers can speak about their career, how they got to where they are, anything career related or focused. This year Teach In Day is Friday, Nov. 8th. It's typically on a Tuesday, but the Tuesday before is election day, so we moved it to Friday. Our Teach In Day was a huge success last year with 56 speakers on our campus that day and so many different topics discussed! We would love to see that same number again this year. Lunch will be provided if anyone would like to stay and meet new business partners and parents!
