We had so much fun this morning packing food bags for schools in Seminole County. Around 50,000 individuals in Seminole County deal with food insecurity- which goes up during summer time when kids aren't getting meals at school. It's a great time to volunteer at a food sharing organization- and a great project kids can help with!

Spent the afternoon on the river with Some of our best memories are on Florida's iconic river for sunset pontoon cruises and Sunday afternoon adventures to find a new rope swings to splash down from. There is no doubt that now is the time to protect it, to restore it, and to plan for a future where wild Florida stays wild. Last week we had the honor of attending Gold Gala and meeting Dr. Allison O'Neill an absolutely inspiring scientist dedicated to helping children survive pediatric cancer. Since the cuts to NIH cancer research funding began, the science of women and people of color is disproportionately being defunded. We are doubling down on our support of research.

Two weeks ago, we did a ribbon cutting with Big Nova Foundation ✂️

We unveiled two new trailers funded by the Big Nova Foundation, and in true SALT fashion, we named them:

The combo Shower, Bathroom, and Laundry Trailer is called Nova. The combo Case Management and Shower trailer is called Hope.

These are more than just names, these names represent what Big Nova Foundation has done through SALT, “sparking hope and igniting lasting change..” among our guests experiencing homelessness in Central Florida 🌟

This video highlights our partnership together, as we partner to impact our guests in Seminole County and beyond!

Excited to continue our partnership together to keep changing lives in this community among our unhoused neighbors 👏

Yesterday we had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon for the opening of two brand new trailers in the SALT fleet. These trailers will bring shower, laundry, and case management services to our unhoused community in Sanford and Seminole County. Looking forward to a continued partnership with this great organization.
