Here’s what’s happening in our parks this October! Grab your calendar, invite your friends and family, and join us for a month full of fun. We’ll see you in the parks!

🌿 Grow & Flow Yoga
Find your flow under the stage at Kiwanis Family Park! Grow & Flow Yoga with Seva Yoga LLC has been a community favorite, and we’re excited to keep the good vibes going. Bring your mat, take a deep breath, and enjoy some time to stretch, move, and unwind.

🎬 Family Movie Night
To infinity and beyond! Join us at Kiwanis Family Park with Lee County NC - Parks & Recreation for a night under the stars featuring Toy Story 5. Bring your chairs, blankets, and favorite movie snacks, and get cozy with the whole family for a fun night at the park!

🎶 Second Sunday Concert
Sundays are better with live music! Our Second Sunday Concerts continue at Kiwanis Family Park, bringing great music and good vibes to the community. Grab your friends and family, bring a chair or blanket, and enjoy an evening together in the park. This month's band: Eat A Peach: A Tribute to The Allman Brothers Band

🌳 Trail Clean Up
Let’s do it again! Last month’s Trail Clean Up was a huge success thanks to our amazing community of volunteers. Join us at the gazebo on Douglass Dr. as we come together once again to give our trails some love.

🍯 Honey Talk
Ever wondered what’s buzzing in our parks? Join us for Honey Talk, an informative look at the working honey bees maintained by the Parks Department. Come learn more about these incredible pollinators and the important role they play in our environment.

🎨 Chalk Walk
Creativity takes center stage at Chalk Walk! In partnership with the The Lee County Arts Council this event gives local artists the chance to showcase their talent and creativity. Come stroll through Depot Park, admire the artwork, and celebrate the incredible talent in our community.

🍬 Candy Drop
Get ready for a sweet surprise! Join us at Kiwanis Family Park for one of our biggest events of the season as the City of Sanford North Carolina Fire Department drops candy from above! Bring the whole family, grab your candy bag, and get ready for an afternoon of fun. 🚒
