Sanford Lake Association The Sanford Lake Association (SLA) is comprised of homeowners on and around Sanford Lake.

Our primary concern is to look after the overall well-being of our lake and the interests of its residents. We are responsible for putting together the annual fireworks display over Sanford lake. BY-LAW PURPOSE:

The purpose of the organization is to be a significant advocate and voice in the community for restoration and maintenance of Sanford Lake by:

1.1 Providing a consolidated voice for the

common good of the lake
community
1.2 Promoting lake community awareness regarding lake restoration efforts
and concerns
1.3 Supporting efforts to restore and maintain the lakefront
1.4 Acting as a liaison between the lake community and township, village
and county governments as well as other governmental agencies
1.5 Partnering with Four Lakes Task Force to facilitate the restoration of the
lake

Are you feeling happy about the return of Sanford Lake?! Do you want to support the 4th of July Fireworks? Now you can wear your excitement proudly! The Sanford Lake Association will soon be selling these cool tees ($25) and tanks ($20) as a fundraiser for the upcoming fireworks event! April graced Michigan with lots of rain. While that helped with the refill of Sanford, it created challenges at Secord, Smallwood and Edenville. At Secord, the high water levels caused flooding in the primary spillway area.
