We had a blast at our last shoreline restoration event of the year (10/17/26)! 78 volunteers helped to plant 1,384 native plants at Lake of the Woods to improve and . This included cypress trees, dahoon holly trees, pickerelweed, duck potato, golden canna, soft rush, spike rush, and crinum lily. We also removed invasive and encroaching vegetation (36 bags, 5.4 cubic yards) and collected litter (1 bag). This was a HUGE accomplishment; we are so thankful for everyone who pitched in!
