🧡🌈 STITCH & B***H: PRIDE EDITION 🌈🧡

After Beer Yoga wraps up on Sunday, stick around for one of our favorite monthly traditions: Stitch & B***h.

Bring your knitting, crocheting, embroidery, coloring books, half-finished craft projects, or simply bring yourself.

Every month, we gather in community to talk about what's happening in the world, reflect on what we've accomplished, vent a little when we need to, and most importantly, remind each other that none of us are carrying it all alone.

Let's be honestβ€”the world feels pretty heavy right now.

But if history has taught us anything, it's that communities survive difficult times by coming together. We share stories. We support one another. We find ways to take action. We create. We laugh. We build relationships. We find joy where we can and create more of it when we can't.

This month's gathering is especially meaningful as we celebrate Pride Month and honor the generations of LGBTQ folks who built community, cared for one another, and refused to disappear, even when the world told them they should.

But we don't gather just to complain.

We gather to connect.
We gather to heal.
We gather to build.
We gather to remember that hope is something we create together.

The world may be noisy, but we're still here. And we're still showing up for one another. πŸ’–

🌈 PRIDE MONTH KICKOFF: UNITED IN ANGER 🌈

πŸ“… June 6th πŸ•• 6:00–8:30pm

As we kick off Pride Month, we invite you to join us for a community film viewing and discussion led by Jordan Napoli-Cranford of the powerful documentary United in Anger: A History of ACT UP.

This film tells the story of the AIDS activist movement through the voices of those who were in the trenches fighting for their lives, their loved ones, and their community during the height of the AIDS epidemic.

Together, we will watch the film and hold space afterward for discussion, reflection, education, and community conversation.
The AIDS epidemic disproportionately devastated the LGBTQ community while governments and institutions looked away.

We are here because of the people who marched, protested, advocated, cared for the sick, buried their friends, and still somehow kept fighting for a better future.

Their legacy lives in us.

So we could think of no better way to begin Pride Month than by honoring that history, celebrating how far we’ve come, acknowledging how far we still have to go, and reminding ourselves that q***r joy, resilience, and community have always been powerful forces for change.

We were not defeated then.
We will not be defeated now.
And we will continue to love, support, and grow together. ❀️

This event is open to the public. Bring a friend, bring your curiosity, and come build community with us.

This event will be in place of our regular Saturday Juice Box.
