This week Alexandria Rye Rye Family Farm came to speak at our monthly volunteer meeting. She shared the incredible story of the growth of her family and their baking business and God’s hand in it all. How she went from just starting baking in 2022 to the thriving local business she has now, with even bigger dreams ahead! She shared her heart for helping people learn traditional skills like bread and pasta making, growing food, and choosing real foods to fuel and heal our bodies.
And, incredibly, her story started at a pregnancy center just like ours. Where her mother, who had been rejected by those who should have been there for her, found compassionate support and a loving community to walk along side of her.
Stories like Alexandria’s are why centers like our exist. To help women see through the forest of confusion and panic, find their path, and not have to walk it alone. Yesterday was such a blessing and an encouragement to our hearts.
AND she brought mini sourdough boules to share with everyone! 😍
