I am so grateful I got the opportunity to attend the Miss Chapel Hill/Orange County Competition this evening. All the young ladys did an amazing job!

👑SAME GIRL, SAME PASSION👑
As I end my Farmer’s Day posts, I have to post this one.
Going back to 2015, I held my first ever pageant title and rode through the same parade I rode in on Saturday.
When I recreated these pictures on the same railroad tracks, I didn’t just think of the little girl, but the growth that little girl has made.
Many people know it took time for me to win a title in the Miss America Opportunity, 5 years to be exact. But through all the hard times when I wanted to give up, I looked back at the 2015 little girl.
Being your 2015 Little Miss Mid-State Tractor Queen was my 1st title, and my 2nd title was Miss Lake Tillery’s Teen 2026. That’s right - it took me 11 years to win my next title from my 1st.
That goes to show that timing is everything, and you have to trust God in His timing. Because I would have loved to win way sooner, but it was not His plan. When I did win, I got rewarded for waiting and being patient because I could have not asked for a better reign so far.

This past weekend I was able to attend Farmer’s Day in Robbins, NC. This holds a special place in my heart because this is my hometown. Being able to represent Lake Tillery in Robbins is an honor I will never take for granted.

From the horse parade, to the tractor & truck parade, and all the yummy food and drinks in between, I truly did have the best time.
It was also amazing to have my sister queen, Callie, participate in the tractor & truck parade with me.

A huge thank you to Mr. David from David Sinclair for taking the photos of me helping pass out awards for the horse parade.

As our official Miss NC’s Teen photos come back from Lenn Long and his team, I want to take a trip down memory lane, and show the prep behind each phase of competition.

Third up is Fitness, 20% of your score and the fun upbeat part of competition.
Fitness has always looked different for me. I’ve never been the smallest but I’ve always been the one to give it my all in the sport. Growing up participating in softball, soccer, cheerleading, and dance, I stayed pretty busy.
Competing in Fitness on the Miss North Carolina’s Teen stage was never about being the most fit. It was about being healthy and feeling confident in myself. I’m proud to say I was confident and proud of myself when I competed in Fitness.

Also, this was definitely my favorite Rebel Red I’ve ever worn, and I am really sad I won’t wear it again. Thank you so much Rebel Athletic for being in an alliance with the Miss America Opportunity and the American Heart Association, bringing awareness and support to women’s heart health and cardiovascular disease.

P.S. This song and dance will forever live in my head, thanks to the best Freddie Lee Heath !

As our official Miss NC’s Teen photos come back from Lenn Long and his team, I want to take a trip down memory lane, and show the prep behind each phase of competition.

Second, Evening Gown, 20% of your score, and a moment I will never forget.
Evening gown has always been a hard phase of competition for me, questions floating in my head, does the dress make me look too old, or does this dress make me look too young.
I can say this dress had no doubt behind it. From the moment I put it on, I knew it was the one. You weren’t talking me out of it.
Going to Miss North Carolina’s Teen has always been a dream of mine, but walking the Miss North Carolina’s Teen stage in Evening Gown was always the biggest part of that dream.
During my walk, I had the feeling I felt the night I won Miss Lake Tillery’s Teen, an overwhelming feeling of peace, a feeling that “I HAD MADE IT”. Nothing else mattered because little Adrianna’s dream had officially been fulfilled.

This dress would not have been possible without the amazing help and love from the McKenzie Jade’s family. McKenzie and Mrs.Tracy were the biggest help while finding my dress and always supported me. Truly, the biggest thank you and so much love for them!

As our official Miss NC’s Teen photos come back from Lenn Long and his team, I want to take a trip down memory lane, and show the prep behind each phase of competition.

First, Interview, 30% of your score, and 10 minutes where you can show who you are to the judges.
My outfit was everything I could have wanted and more, bright, bold, and very Adrianna.
This interview was not about saying what the judges wanted to hear, but what they needed to hear. Being told you’re the reason our oceans are dying is not positive, but it’s truthful. I wanted the judges to know who I was and why I have a passion for our oceans and the life within them. And that’s exactly what I did.
This interview was also more than just another interview, it was my first Miss NC interview and my last. I wanted to leave it all out there, showing that 5 years, and 19 prelims can pay off, and you can make it.
