! We had a terrific session at the North American Association for Environmental Education - NAAEE conference in Portland! Morgan Parks, our Education for Sustainability Manager, presented about the conservation collaboration between Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Fish Eggs to Fry program, Association of Northwest Steelheaders' volunteers, and NWF's Eco-Schools U.S. Salmon Stewards program. 🐟💦🐟

We had an egg-citing weekend hosting a workshop for educators, including our Eco-Schools U.S. Salmon Stewards cohort from Tigard-Tualatin School District! Teachers learned about fish fostering, aquarium set-up, testing for water quality, and how to calculate fish development in preparation for fish fostering coming up in October 🐟 🎃.

We just finished tote bags for our Salmon Stewards teachers! Our fish prints turned out pretty cute and we bedazzled them with glitter to make em' extra special 😁. Can't wait to gift to our new EcoSchools U.S. cohort starting next week from Tigard-Tualatin School District!🖌🎨🐟
