3 members are representing Local 3162 at the ALTS conference in Orlando Florida this week. They are attending a number of leadership courses and will be bringing that valuable information back to us. These conferences are an amazing tool for our members to gain education and knowledge.

Rest easy Captain. Our hearts and prayers go out to your loved ones, family, and fire brothers.

"It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Captain Merrill Bone. Capt. Bone passed away this evening due to complications with COVID-19. His passing will be recognized as a Line of Duty Death. Bone- although you may be gone you will never be forgotten."

Join us at the Utah Firefighter Chili Cookoff!

The 9th Annual Firefighter Chili Cookoff is on Saturday, October 9, from 11 AM - 3 PM. This fundraiser supports the University of Utah Burn Camp Programs. Come support a good cause and eat some amazing chili while doing it.

Over 15 teams of firefighters are competing for best Chili. The event is at the South Towne Mall Outdoor Plaza, in Sandy, UT. (West side of the mall).
