Here is my latest oil painting study, which is 47% complete. I anticipate the final piece to be 2 or 3 feet by 4 feet, whereas this study measures 20 x 24 inches. The Navajo people would journey to the Pacific Ocean prior to the US government's intervention, as ocean water held significant sacredness in Navajo ceremonies.

Dear fellow placement participants:
There are many dynamics of our participation in LDS Indian Placement Program, joy and horror, happiness and confusion, causing some to change the entire course of their lives and deep seeded hardships.

We are happy for those who've enjoyed joy. May you walk a path in beauty. We will love our foster families forever.

For those of us who have suffered abuse and mistreatment, it may require serious legal intervention. This action may not bring justice or complete healing. However, these seated feelings must be released. It is our hope to hold space for those who must confront the shadows of the past. Please PM me for support and helpful alternatives.

Is it the the precepts or the church?

08/28/2024

You know you live a life with a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, you believe in the foundation of the plan of salvation, but the church does something totally personal and contrary to you. And your life flashes and greater questions about the after life.

About this time of year we'd either be back with our foster families or on our way. Remember those days?

Good day everyone. How's everyone doing these days?
