Quick heads up, neighbors — we're closing at 1pm TODAY for Memorial Day weekend and reopening Tuesday, May 27 at 9am.

Before we head out though — big news! 🎉 We are now accepting dehumidifiers at our recycling center. If you've got one collecting dust in your basement, bring it in. They contain refrigerant so they're handled as freon items, per the EPA — drop-off fee is $30.

Same goes for window AC units, mini-fridges, and full refrigerators. If it has a compressor, we'll take it.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. See you Tuesday! 💚

We still have many volunteer spots available for the Beyond the Bin event on April 25th. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at The Springs Cinema & Taphouse to ensure this community recycling effort is successful.

This event is essential for responsible waste management and serves as a vital fundraiser, with all proceeds directly supporting our mission. We cannot manage the logistics of this event without a full team of volunteers to assist with operations.

Whether you can commit to a few hours or the entire morning, your participation is needed. Please use the link below to view the remaining shifts and register.

We are officially celebrating a massive partnership with the GeorgiaTreeCouncil's ReLeaf program! This spring, we planted 761 native trees (yes, 761!) directly into the hands of our incredible community.

From White Oaks to Flowering Dogwoods, Persimmons to Black Cherries, we made six beautiful, native species ready to root. 🍃 We didn’t just meet neighbors; we launched 306 documented plantings across 49 zip codes! And we know there are many more thriving trees we didn't track.

Our spring giveaway is now closed, but KNFB's commitment to a greener, healthier North Fulton is just getting started. If you got a tree, this is your sign! Tag us in your photos—we can’t wait to see them thriving in their new homes. 📸👇

We're taking an egg-stra day off for Easter! 🐣

KNFB will be closed. Monday, April 5 — back at it Tuesday, April 6. No yolk.

We hope you spend the day soaking it all in—good food, good people, and maybe a little sunshine. And when the baskets are empty and the brunch dishes are cleared, we'd love to take those egg cartons, foil pans, and glass bottles off your hands. Come see us Tuesday and bring us your Easter leftovers.

Eat the chocolate. Recycle the rest. 🌿

Happy Easter from all of us at KNFB! 💚

Thank you to every volunteer who gave their Saturday morning to the 16th Annual Sweep the H***h!

This past Saturday, our incredible community came out to Morgan Falls Overlook Park in full force—paddlers on the water and walkers on the banks—for one of the most impactful single-day cleanups in the Southeast.

Here's what we accomplished together:
32.19 TONS removed this year
~1,400 volunteers across 67 cleanup sites
200+ miles of watershed cleaned
341.5 TONS removed over 16 years

The Chattahoochee River is cleaner because of you. We couldn't be more proud.

Save the date for Sweep the H***h 2027—March 20th!
