WLA partnered with Rotarians For Fighting AIDS (RFFA) and launched a joint program called WLA Kids. RFFA was chosen as WLA's partner, because they believe in the importance to improve the lives of the orphans and vulnerable children of Africa through the provision of education. WLA also values the global recognition and respect of the Rotary Brand and the RFFA's leaders who have close linkages to respected AIDS programs in Africa.

WLA is a women’s professional leadership group choosing to make a difference in the lives of children across global impoverished communities. Since 2011, WLA Kids has touched the lives of thousands of children in Kenya by providing school fees, uniforms, desks, and textbooks while offering adults intensive teacher training programs. Additionally, we have invested in Swaziland with school infrastructure, shelter, and care for orphaned children.
